I cannot get enough of neutrals lately. I love blending warm and cool neutral tones to create rich, complex color palettes.
Natural Neutrals
This piece is definitely a "Show your Strokes" moment, because this morning as I was drinking my tea, I fell in love with the warm browns and surrounding grays created by the shadows in my mug. The watery translucency of color was too beautiful to pass up, and I had to take a picture. So this graphic collage was made from that picture, a graphite pencil, and some watercolor blends to emphasize the watery, blended nature of this piece.
